I’ve learned that a life is shaped less by the big moments and more by the quiet ones, the ones most people pass by without noticing.
A hallway conversation at work. A memory from Ireland that still follows me. A resident’s soft thank‑you in a hospice room. A story that arrives before I’m ready to write it. A moment of stillness that reminds me I’ve survived more than I ever speak about.
I don’t write from a place untouched by hardship. I’ve walked through seasons that tested me, stretched me, and reshaped me. I’ve known struggle, loss, reinvention, and the quiet work of surviving. But every difficult chapter has softened me rather than hardened me. The gentleness I carry now wasn’t born in comfort; it was earned.
I’ve worked as an electrician, a carpenter, a cabinet maker, a maintenance supervisor, a children’s author, a creative founder, and a student of emotional literacy. Every role has taught me something about people, about care, about connection, and about the courage it takes to stay open-hearted in a world that often rewards the opposite.
This blog is my promise to you:
I will write honestly. About the work, the lessons, the healing, the creativity, the community, and the moments that make us human.
I will write gently. Because gentleness is not weakness, it’s wisdom wearing soft clothes.
I will write with purpose. Every post will be a small offering: a story, a reflection, a lesson, or a reminder that you are not walking your life alone.
Holding All Hearts was built to be a home for connection. Elio & Solace were created to teach emotional literacy through story. This blog is where the threads come together, where I share the journey behind the work, the heart behind the projects, and the meaning inside the moments.
If you’re here, thank you. I hope these words meet you exactly where you are today.
This is my message. And this is my promise. Welcome to the blog.
